  • The Whitney High School Black Alumni Assocation Cerritos, CA 90703 USA (map)

WHSBAA x NEA Ed Justice

WHSBAA took the National Education Association's EdJustice pledge and now it’s time to create the action. To kick off Black History Month, we are committed to ensuring that Black Lives Matter At School too.
The National Education Association has laid the foundation to take action with educators and allies by leading the way for change across the country during Black Lives Matter at School Week of Action, starting

February 1st:

2/1 Monday: Support Black teachers

  • WHSBAA has selected 3 ABCUSD teachers, of the Diapsora, to donate $100 gift cards too. These Black educators are not only committed to support Black students, but have done a phenomenal job supporting all students within ABCUSD. Check our Facebook and Instagram account on Monday to find out more about these amazing educators.

2/2 Tuesday: Mobilize for safe and just schools
2/3 Wednesday: Ensure Black students thrive
2/4 Thursday: Teach Black stories
2/5 Friday: Make this a year of purpose
